The first download for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 not requiring an Elite subscription will debut on the Xbox 360 on March 20.

The “Content Collection #1” is one of four that will be available for purchase on Xbox Live through the course of the year.

The package will include all the downloads released to Elite subscribers over the past two months as well as additional maps and cooperative Spec-Ops missions.

The next Elite downloads available on March 13 include multiplayer map “Black Box” and missions “Black Ice” and “Negotiator.”

According to a statement from publisher Activision, “Black Ice” features a diamond mind where players must “plant high-grade explosives” and shut it down, while “Negotiator” takes players to India to rescue hostages.

Activision did not include details on pricing. Previous downloadable packages for older Call of Duty titles have sold for $14.99. The publisher did not say when these collections will be available for PC and PlayStation 3.

The DLC schedule is part of Activision’s efforts to entice more players to the online service Call of Duty: Elite, which they can use for free to check stats in the game’s multiplayer component. Players can also spend $50 on an annual subscription that guarantees early access to future downloads tied to Modern Warfare 3.
