resident-evil-revelations-2Capcom will be bringing Resident Evil Revelations 2 to PS Vita this spring. It comprises four episodes that will be released on consoles and PC starting on February 17th. The plan is to bring out one episode a week, with the last episode being released on March 10th.

After all the episodes are out, the game will be made available on Vita in some form. Whether this will be per episode, or as a single download containing all four episodes is unclear. It could be that both of these options are available.

It’s being sold on PC and consoles for €5.99 / $5.99 per episode, or €24.99 / $24.99 for the complete season. So its pricing on Vita will probably be the same.

News of Resident Evil Revelations 2 for Vita started out as a rumour the week before the Tokyo Game show in September 2014. These rumours were then confirmed during the PlayStation Experience in December.

Last week, pre-orders for the complete season of the game on PS3 and PS4 were rolled out alongside re-affirmation of it coming to Vita. To point out the obvious, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is the sequel the Silver Award-winning 3DS game Resident Evil Revelations.

It follows Claire Redfield and her partner Moira Burton as they attempt to survive on a mysterious island facility. Moira’s father, Barry Burton, also gets involved by launching his own rescue mission for the starring pair.
