The California Public Utilities Commission has concluded its own review of AT&T’s proposed acquisition of Leap Wireless.
It believes the acquisition would be beneficial to consumers and gave it a greenlight. The deal still needs approval from government regulators, however, including the Federal Communications Commission.
The FCC is still reviewing the details.
