Apple VP of Environment, Policy, and Social Initiatives Lisa Jackson will speak at the Bay Area Women’s Summit on June 21.
Jackson will join other speakers such as San Francisco Mayor Edwin Lee and Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf. Obama advisor Valerie B. Jarrett is also scheduled to appear. Jackson recently traveled with Apple CEO Tim Cook on the trip to India and visited the Barefoot College that helps teach rural Indian women solar power and water-filtration technology skills.
The event will be held at the Moscone Center North from 8:30AM to 4:30PM, and streamed live on YouTube.
