Adium 1.4 Adds Twitter and IRC support

Adium, a multi-network instant messaged client, has been updated to version1.4; adding Twitter and IRC support along with significant improvements to group chat. ┬áThe update includes “hundreds” of bug fixes and improvements to contact management, MSN and Jabber connections and AIM/Mobile Me connections.

Adium is a volunteer-driven, open-source chat program that allows connections to almost any sort of chat network on the internet. To support their efforts the gout has released a new line of ┬ámerchandise includes t-shirts, long-sleeve t’s and hoodies featuring a selection of the software’s “Adiumy” mascot. They are available in sizes for men, women and dogs. Proceeds from the sales go to support the work of the Adium community
