Electronic Arts and Sony, the two companies which hold annual press conferences at Gamescom, are both confirmed for the European mega show.
Koelnmesse, the organizers of Gamescom, says Sony is coming even thought Sony Europe has not confirmed it yet.
Microsoft and Nintendo have decided not to attend the show, which last year drew in 275,000 attendees
