Norton has released a free new security app, iAntivirus, on the Mac App Store. The software is intended as basic malware protection, and can block potential hazards, scan drives for suspected infections, and check a Facebook feed for malicious links. You can just drag and drop items into the app for quick scans
The main screen uses a carousel interface, where two-fingered swipe gestures can be used to navigate between options. Both Mac and Windows infections can be scrubbed, and Norton plans regular updates through the Mac App Store to deal with new threats.
