Cricket Launches the MOTO VE240

Cricket today announced the MOTO VE240 will be available tomorrow at Cricket retail stores in Tulsa, Okla., and will be available soon in all Cricket markets nationwide. Cricket is the first carrier to launch the MOTO VE240, an inexpensive, candybar phone with a wealth of features such as an MP3 Player with dedicated music keys, Stereo Bluetooth  and advanced speech recognition, removable microSD memory card slot supporting up to 4GB optional memory cards, and music-enabled connectivity via USB 2.0FS.

The MOTO VE240 is a phone that will help customers discover the wide range of our unlimited services and experience Crickets value innovation,  said Jeff Toig, vice president, product marketing for Cricket.  The phone is a slick, stylish fashion statement for our customers that will allow them to access the music and features they crave. Coupled with our unlimited wireless service plans, the new VE240 is a great gift for all ages.

The phone also features Mobile Web, Cricket Games & Apps, text and picture messaging, predictive text input, speakerphone, and 2.5-mm stereo headset jack. The phone measures 112 x 47 x 14.5 mm and the main display is 1.5 inches with 128 x 128 65K Color CSTN.

The VE240 is immediately available at Cricket retail stores in Tulsa, and will be available soon in all Cricket markets with a retail price of $89.99 after $30.00 Instant Rebate.
