T-Mobile Blames AT&T Network for the iPhone Issues

Posted by at 12:15 am on November 3, 2010

T-Mobile kicked off a new ad campaign for its HSPA+ network today with a TV commercial (see below) poking fun at  the fact AT&T does not let  iPhone owners run  FaceTime video chat on thier G3 network. The 30-second spot portrays AT&T as an overweight man keeping the iPhone down.

T-Mobile’s fast 21Mbps HSPA+  network runing at 4G speed  allows the  myTouch 4G join two-way video chats without being tied to an Wi-Fi hotspot, is a key theme in the ad.

While throwing a right hook at AT&T, T-Mobile is careful not to attack the iPhone itself.  T-mobile in other nations sells the iPhone and some think T-mobile may get to sell the iPhone in 2011 in the US.
