Announced at Gamescom in August, the newest installment in the Metal Gear franchise Metal Gear Survive was not too well received by fans. Now this week at Tokyo Game Show, publisher Konami has released 15 minutes of gameplay that shows off just how the four-player cooperative gameplay will work.
The video below shows four players storming a compound overrun by zombies and then having to maintain it as “relentless creatures” try to take it back. The video is all in Japanese but English subtitles can be turned on. Metal Gear Survive takes place in an alternative timeline from the Metal Gear Solid V universe after a team of Mother Base soldiers were swallowed up by a wormhole.
