Adobe has released the latest version of its PhotoShop Camera Raw 5.5, Photoshop Lightroom 2.5, and DNG Converter 5.5. These updates include support for five new popular camera models, the Nikon D300s and D3000, the Olympus E-P1, and the Panasonic DMC-FZ35 and DMC-GF1.
Lightroom 2.5 also delivers several corrections for problems that were introduced by the previous versions of the software. The the new Camera Raw 5.5 plug-in also fixes an issue involving demosaic algorithms in the raw conversion process, for Bayer sensor cameras that have un-equal green response time.
All three updates are available from Adobe’s support section, and has the Lightroom 2.5 update free for all users running Lightroom 2 or higher, the Camera Raw 5.5 is free for existing customers of Photoshop CS4, Photoshop Elements 7 and Premier Elements 7, while the DNG Converter update is free for anyone.
