Toshiba has priced the previously introduced Qosmio X770 and Qosmio X770 3D notebooks. The line, Toshiba says, offers cutting-edge technology that’s accessible to the mass market. The 3D model uses NVIDIA’s 3D Vision technology to deliver 3D images with the help of glasses.

Buyers have a choice of Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processors and can order up to 8GB of RAM. There is a USB 3.0 port onboard and hard drive space of up to 1TB, with the 3D model with up to 1.25TB. The Qosmio X770 gets NVIDIA’s 1.5GB GeForce GTX 560M graphics processor and Optimus technology that switches it off when not needed to save battery life.

Either model has a 17.3-inch 1080p display and built-in Harman Kardon speakers and subwoofer. The 3D model has a 120Hz screen and active shutter glasses. It can convert 2D to 3D and outputs to a 3D TV. Options include a Blu-ray disc and Bluetooth 3.0.

The Qosmio X770 Series starts at $1,200 while the 3D version starts at $1,900. Both ship later in June.
