ABC has released a nine-minute from the first scenes its new mystery drama Emergence. This push seems to be part of a followup from their SDCC efforts earlier this summer along with the fall series kick push that comes this time of year along with back to school sales.
The footage gives us a look at Allison Tolman as Jo Evans, a police chief called out to investigate a small plane crash at the beach after the city’s power and cellular service have been knocked out. At the site, she finds a little girl hiding behind a sand dune.
Alexa Swinton’ charter doesn’t know her name or where her home is, what is much more odd is the fact she doesn’t have a scratch on her. You just need to watch the video to learn the rest.
Emergence also stars Robert Bailey Jr. as Officer Chris Minetto, Ashley Aufderheide as Mia Evans, Zabryna Guevara as Abby Frasier, Donald Faison as Alex Evans, and Clancy Brown as Ed.
Emergence premieres on ABC on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 10/9c.
