It was just over a week ago that it was announced that “The Flash” and The DUFF star Robbie Amell will be guest-starring on one of the upcoming episodes of FOX’s revival of “The X-Files.” Now, Amell is already filming and he and Gillian Anderson have just shared some new X-Files set photo selfies that you can check out below!

Details of Amell’s role have not been fully revealed, although we do know that he’ll be playing an FBI Agent by the name of Miller alongside “Six Feet Under” star Lauren Ambrose as Agent Einstein. As you can see in Amell’s Instagram post, at least one scene in the episode (the fourth of six) will apparently take place at a Casino.

Per X-FilesNews.com, the episode in question is titled “Babylon” and series creator Chris Carter has promised that it will be “Quite unlike anything that’s been done before on the show.”

“It deals with a very timely and newsworthy subject,” Carter is quoted as having announced at the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival. “It deals with it in a way that you will not recognize as anything that’s come before it. We are breaking some new ground and trying some new things.”

“Babylon” is also slated to feature the return of The Lone Gunmen, Bruce Harwood, Tom Braidwood and Dean Haglund. It should air February 8, 2016 on FOX.

“The X-Files” originally premiered on FOX in September 1993. Over the course of its nine-season run, the influential series went from breakout sci-fi favorite to massive global hit, and became one of the most successful television dramas of all time. The show, which earned 16 Emmy Awards, five Golden Globes and a Peabody Award, follows FBI special agents Scully (Anderson) and Mulder (David Duchovny) as they investigate unexplained cases – “X-Files” – for which the only answers involve paranormal phenomena.

Anderson and Duchovny are both slated to reprise their roles alongisde Mitch Pileggi returning as Walter Skinner and William B. Davis coming back as the Cigarette-Smoking Man. Confirmed guest stars also include Annet Mahendru (“Homeland”), Joel McHale (“Community”) and Kumail Nanjiani (“Silicon Valley”).
