Pandora on Monday released an update for its iPhone app that adds a number of new features. Version 5.1 of Pandora for iOS allows users to start their day with their favorite Pandora stations at a time of their choosing. It also features a sleeker redesign, meant to bring the app more in line with the aesthetic of iOS 7.

Users can pick a favorite station to wake up to, and if they like what they hear, they can continue listening. The alarm clock feature also has a snooze function, so that users can catch a few extra minutes here or there. There is also a sleep timer function to let users have the device go to sleep after a given duration.

Aside from the alarm clock feature, the app also has a considerably different overall look, with a flat design aesthetic. Version 5.1 also includes a number of bug fixes and small improvements aimed at making the listening experience better. Version 5.1 of Pandora for iOS is available as a free download in the iTunes App Store. The 32.6MB download requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod running iOS 5.0 or higher.
