M GehaGotham’s” Ivy Pepper is sprouting into iconic DC Comics villain Poison Ivy in Season 3, and Maggie Geha has been tapped to take on the deadly role. Geha replaces Claire Foley, who has portrayed Ivy in her younger iteration since the show began.

According to Fox’s character breakdown, Ivy’s unlikely transformation is due to a brush with one of Hugo Strange’s creatures, last seen escaping into the Gotham night at the end of Season 2. Following an encounter with a monster from Indian Hill, Ivy Pepper finds herself reborn, and one step closer to the DC villain she is destined to become: Poison Ivy. Now a 19-year-old woman who’s harnessed the full power of her charms, she sets her sights on Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz).

Geha has previously appeared opposite Mark Wahlberg in “Ted 2,” and alongside Hugh Grant in “The Rewrite.” She also had a supporting role in the independent film “In Stereo” and will next be seen in the psychological thriller “The Harrow.” Geha is represented by INSURGE-Ent, Sanders Armstrong Caserta Management and attorney Neil Meyer.
Season 3 of “Gotham” is also set to introduce The Mad Hatter and Gotham Gazette reporter Valerie Vale, the aunt of DC Comics mainstay Vicki Vale. “Gotham” Season 3 premieres Monday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. on Fox. Check out the network’s full fall premiere schedule here.
