Microsoft today announced that it plans to rebrand its SkyDrive cloud-storage product. The new name will be OneDrive.
Microsoft said SkyDrive users will see no change to their service other than the name itself. “We believe the new OneDrive name conveys the value we can deliver for you and best represents our vision for the future,” said Microsoft in a blog post.
The official launch of OneDrive was not disclosed, but a sign-up page is now live for those interested in more information.
