patty-jenkinsAfter Michelle MacLaren dropped out of the “Wonder Woman” movie as director, the Hollywood Reporter is now reporting that Patty Jenkins has been tapped to take over the job.

MacLaren left the project earlier this week due to creative differences with the studio. Sources say her departure was only a minor speed bump, and production is still set to begin in the fall as originally planned.

Gal Gadot is still attached to star as the Amazon princess-turned-superhero, who plays a major part in the Justice League. The pic is set to bow sometime in 2017.

Jenkins was the first choice to direct another big comicbook film, “Thor: The Dark World,” but eventually left the project, also because of creative differences, with Marvel finally securing Alan Taylor for the gig.

Jenkins is repped by CAA and most recently worked in TV, directing episodes of “The Killing” and “Betrayal.” Her feature debut was the critically acclaimed “Monster” in 2003, which won Charlize Theron an Oscar.
