Back in late February Valve promised its fans that a printed version of the didgital comics that were produced for Dota 2 are also being created in collaboration with Dark Horse Comics. The initial announcement didn’t mention a release date but it looks like we finally have one anyway. According to an Amazon listing, Dota 2: The Comic Collection is set to arrive a few months from now on August 1st.
While Amazon sometimes lists placeholder release dates, that’s probably not the case here. Dota 2: The Comic Collection also shows up over on Dark Horse Comics‘ website with a publication date of August 1st. The two websites also mention that the collection costs $24.99 and features 160 pages. This hardcover collection includes all the Dota 2 comics released by Valve and can already be pre-ordered from Amazon, as well as a number of other retailers.
