RLJ Entertainment now has the U.S. rights to period horror thriller The Limehouse Golem.
Jane Goldman (X-Men: First Class, Kingsman: The Secret Service) wrote the screen play.
Bill Nighy stars as Inspector John Kildare who has been assigned the case of a serial killer stalking Victorian London nearly a decade before Jack the Ripper. He soon meets Olivia Cooke as a young songstress sentenced to death for the murder of her husband, who may hold the secrets to solving the grisly mystery.
Douglas Booth, Sam Reid, and Eddie Marsan also star in the Juan Carlos Medina-directed film.
The film will have both theatrical and On Demand release on September 8th in the US. The first will come to UK theaters one earlier on September 1
