Lenovo will be bringing to market more convertible notebooks to market in the coming months. The Yoga 2 11 and 13 are refreshes of the original Yoga notebooks, though not offering the 3,200×1,800-resolution display of the Yoga 2 Pro, while the Flex 14D and 15D receive some specification upgrades compared to the versions launched last September.

The Yoga 2 13 has a 13-inch 1080p multitouch display in a dual-hinge design that allows it to fully wrap around the keyboard, and can be set into a number of advantageous positions. Running on Windows 8.1, it can be configured to have up to a 4th generation Intel Core i5 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 500GB of storage as either a hard drive or an SSD. Dolby Home Theater v4 audio, a backlit dual-layer AccuType keyboard, 1-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and up to 8 hours of battery life are included in the 3.5-pound notebook, while its on-board software includes the Lenovo Picks app, which recommends apps based on how the display is positioned.

The smaller Yoga 2 11 goes for a smaller 11.6-inch 1,366×768 touch display on a similar hinge, though its small size is also accompanied by lower specification choices. While a 500GB hard disk can be selected, RAM is limited to a maximum of 4GB, and it will use a quad-core Bay Trail Intel Pentium processor, but it will use full Windows 8.1 instead of Windows RT. It has similar connectivity options, camera, and audio to its larger stablemate, but weighs a lighter 2.9 pounds and can last for up to 6 hours on the battery.

Both the Flex 14D and 15D have a 300-degree hinge attached to the 14 and 15.6-inch 1,366×768 touchscreens, though unlike the Yoga, it will not allow the display to lie flat against the back of the keyboard to be used as a tablet. Running Windows 8.1, both notebooks can be configured with an AMD A6-5200M quad-core processor with Radeon HD8570 1GB graphics and 8GB of RAM, and up to either a 1TB hard drive or a 500GB hard disk with 8GB solid state hybrid drive. Three USB ports, VGA, HDMI, Ethernet, a memory card reader, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and a 720p webcam are also included in the Flex notebooks, with the larger 15D weighing 5.07 pounds compared to the lighter 4.4 pounds of the 14D.

The Yoga 2 13 will start shipping in February, starting from $999, with the Yoga 2 11 starting at $529 when it ships in late January. The Flex 14D and 15D, starting from $499, are available now.
