Lenovo K80 Sports 4 GB of RAM and a 4000 mAh Battery

Lenovo has introduced a new smartphone destined for the Chinese market, with two impressive hardware points among the mid to high-end specifications list. Measuring 8.5mm thick, The phablet-sized Lenovo K80 houses 4GB of RAM, equalling the competing Asus ZenFone 2, while the non-removable battery holds a long-lasting 4,000mAh of charge.

Inside the K80 is a 64-bit Intel Atom processor running at 1.8GHz, reports Phone Arena, driving a 5.5-inch 1080×1920-resolution display. The rear camera uses a 13-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization and a flash. The usual connectivity options are accompanied by LTE, and it will be shipping in a selection of colors, including black, red, and silver.

Lenovo is aiming to ship the K80 on April 30, with two variants available, just like the ZenFone 2. The headline 4GB version with 64GB of storage will sell for 1,800 yuan ($290), while a version with a more modest 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage selling for 1,500 yuan ($240). It is unknown if Lenovo will be selling the device in markets outside of China after the launch.
