About everyone knows now that AMD releasing a budget friendly VR card that will appeal to the masses. A card that has great performance and is VR ready and costs only $200 is all well in good in theory. This leaked Radeon RX 480 3DMark Fire Strike benchmarks reveal that it beats the GTX 980.
Here in these leaked Radeon RX 480 3DMark Fire Strike benchmarks, you can see that the AMD GPU beats the GTX 980. Though the numbers may not be very significant you need to keep in mind that the 4 GB AMD Radeon RX 480 that has been tested here is more than half of what the GTX 980 costs now.
These Radeon RX 480 3DMark Fire Strike benchmarks look legit and this is the 4GB version being tested out. There is also an 8 GB version that should be more powerful. If this card is even close to what AMD claims, gamers on a budget should be very excited!
