After having been gone from Once Upon A Time for almost two whole seasons, Jamie Chung is set to return as the fierce warrior in Season 5 of the ABC series. Chung will be back for multiple episodes in the upcoming season of Once Upon a Time. However, details regarding the character’s return are currently being kept under wraps, so we’re not exactly sure yet how Mulan will play into Season 5’s overall story.
The last time we saw Mulan on Once Upon a Time was in the show’s third season, as she went and joined Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) and his band of Merry Men after learning that Princess Aurora (Sarah Bolger), who it was revealed that Mulan had feelings for, was pregnant with Prince Philip’s (Julian Morris) baby. It will be interesting to see if Mulan and Aurora end up reuniting at some point in Season 5 (I mean, they have to, right?), and if Chung’s return to the series provides us with more Robin Hood flashbacks, especially now that Maguire has been promoted to a series regular.

Once Upon a Time Season 5 kicks off on in less than two weeks, on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
