Google has refreshed its Hangouts app for the iOS platform and given the messaging service a new look and feel.
The app now makes use of Google’s Material Design and gains a new quick compose button for starting conversations.
The app improves how it handles emoji, the camera, and the photo gallery. Hangouts now lets people send more than one photo at a time. Google says it also took care of some bugs and made some performance improvements.
Hangouts is free to download from iTunes.
