Next month will see the launch of Microsoft’s global Versus multiplayer beta, which will run exclusively on Xbox One.
The Gears of Wars 4 multiplayer beta will kick off on April 18 for fans who’ve played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One or Windows 10.
Those who have played the remastered title will begin to receive tokens in waves for early access to the beta, Microsoft has confirmed.
And following the conclusion of early access on April 24, all qualifying Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox One will be invited to join the beta until it ends on May 1.

Xbox gamers who want to get in on the early access through Gears of War: Ultimate Edition have until April 11, Microsoft had previously set the cut off date as March 1.
To qualify, players must log on to Xbox Live and play Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One or Windows 10 by 6 a.m. GMT, April 11.
It follows the news that Microsoft are planning several event based around Gears of Wars 4 at Pax East in Boston.
The Out of the Shadows: Inside Gears of War Multiplayer with The Coalition panel starts on Sunday, Apr. 24 at 10:30am and will feature some special surprises connected to the game’s multiplayer.
