Dell has introduced a new range of ultra-slim desktop monitors. Both the 21.5-inch S2230MX and the 23-inch S2330MX are just 9.9mm at their thinnest point. Both LED displays support 1080p at 1920×1080 pixels each, and are capable of displaying an 82 percent color gamut for accurate color reproduction. They also have a super high contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1 for brighter whites and better black reproduction.

Both panels are Twisted Nematic (TN) type, have a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio and have a 2ms response time with a 60Hz refresh rate. VGA and DVI ports provide connectivity on both the S2230MX and the S2330MX. Support for HDMI is provided by the included DVI-HDMI dongle. They are both Energy Star compliant and have achieved EPEAT Silver status for power usage.

The Dell 21-5-inch S2230MX monitor is retailing for $220, while the larger 23-inch S2330MX monitor is retailing for $250.
