D-Link at CES has launch a new range of very keel designed Wi-Fi routers, as well as more powerline networking products. The AC5300, AC3200, and AC3100 Ultra Wi-Fi Routers all tout high wireless network speeds, while the PowerLine AV2 1000 and 2000M kits claim to provide fast wired network speeds using the home’s power supply.
The tri-band AC5300 offers Wi-Fi speeds of up to 5,330Mbps, combining a 1,000Mbps 2.4GHz connection with a pair of 5GHz 2,165Mbps bands, with a collection of eight antennas flanking the router’s edges. The AC3200 and AC3100, equipped with 6 and 4 antennas respectively, both offer speeds in excess of 3,000Mbps, combining the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.

All three use SmartBeam technology to optimize connections to Wi-Fi devices, have USB 3.0 ports and Gigabit Ethernet connections, and have remote access and management options via smartphones and tablets.
Currently, only the AC3200 is available now, priced at $310, with D-Link expected to ship the AC5300 and AC3100 in the second quarter.
D-Link AC3100 Ultra Wi-Fi Router
The PowerLine AV2 1000 and 2000 provide speeds of up to 1,000Mbps and 2,000Mbps respectively over existing electrical wiring. Each kit is made up of two plug-in units, though the total number of networking plugs can be increased to extend the network further, with each also including a Gigabit Ethernet connection, a simple connection process by pressing a single button on the base of each unit, and in the case of the AV2 2000 model, 128-bit AES Link Encryption support.
Shipping in the first quarter, the PowerLine AV2 1000 and AV2 2000 will cost $80 ad $130 respectively.
