Archos is planning to make a big splash at MWC this year. The company has a fistful of Androids devices ready for Barcelona but just one of them is a tablet. Archos’ 8-inch tablet packs 4G support and a price tag that matches most smartphones.

The 80 Helium 4G is a tablet based on a Qualcomm MSM8926 SoC with a quad core CPU clocked to 1.2 GHz and Adreno 305 graphics. It too has 8 GB of internal storage, MIcroSD support, 1 GB of RAM and two cameras. In back you’ve got a 5-megapixel affair and up front there’s a 2-megapixel lens for video calls. As the name suggests, this tablet is 4G compatible, but it also features WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. The battery is a 3,500 mAh unit, which is a respectable size, though there are some smartphones with bigger packs.

This device will cost $249 at launch.
