GitHub Honors Military Police Request To Blocks Catalan Protest App

Microsoft’s San Francisco-based GitHub has blocked Spanish users from accessing an app designed to help Catalan independence protesters due to a  takedown request by the Spanish military police. Spain’s military police described the app devs from Tsunami Democràtic group as a “criminal organisation” which incites riots. GitHub told the BBC it always complied with lawful requests. […]
