Boxee Wil Carry Live UFL Football Games

Boxee said on Friday that it will bring live football in HD through the United Football League (UFL) to its streaming TV and movie media platform. The games will be accessible using the new United Football League app, and air games at the same time as they appear on Versus and HDNet. Viewers will have access to behind the scenes interviews, league footage and previous games on-demand.

The UFL is comprised of five teams that include the Florida Tuskers, Hartford Colonials, Las Vegas Locomotives, Omaha Nighthawks, and the Sacramento Mountain Lions.

UFL Team rosters rosters have been comprised mostly of veterans who couldn’t find a home on a NFL roster such as Admim Archuleta, Brooks Bollinger, Gary Stills, LaBrandon Toefield, and Mike Doss to name a few that have are are calling UFL home for now. Plus younger guys who maybe never got a fair chance with the NFL.

The first game to be streamed is a rematch of last year’s championship game between the Las Vegas Locos and the Florida Tuskers, starting this Saturday
