EV auto firm Faraday Future at this time has a very uncertain future, after news earlier this month it would be end it plans to build a plant Las Vegas, Nevada area. Plus its primary backer, China’s LeEco, is in dire financial straits, and is even being sued by Vizio over a failed take over..

No Today we have something a much happier to report on the firm.  The company has scored a major hire with Ulrich Kranz, who previously headed BMW’s electric “i” series vehicle program for 10 years and was  with with the German firm for 30 years.  He will be the firm’s Chief Technical Officer. efore that, Kranz led the MINI line, as well as product development across multiple areas at the automaker in previous roles. Before that, Kranz led the MINI line

The addition of Kranz gives Faraday new street cred.

Now they just need a place to build those cars we have seen at CES, the past two years!
