Corsair has expanded its Force Series of 2.5-inch SSDs. The new models have capacities ranging from 60GB to 240GB. Each of the drives integrates a Sandforce SF-1200 SSD processor that supports 4K random write performance of 180MB/s . The drives are also claimed to sustain 15K IOPS and a maximum throughput of 285MB/s during read operations and 275MB/s while writing data.
The F60, F120, and F240 SSDs are expected to be available sometime next month. Pricing has yet to be announced.
