Halt and Catch Fire‘s Scoot McNairy will be making a time travel trip back East to Fargo.
Fargo creator Noah Hawley told TVLine on the Emmy’s red carpet that McNairy will have recurring role during Fargos’ third Season on FX.

The third season will be set in a time closer to the present than Seasons 1 and 2 were, Season 3 of Fargo focuses on a pair of lookalike brothers, both played by Ewan McGregor. The older of the two, Emmit, is a good-looking, self-assured real estate magnate — aka the Parking Lot King of Minnesota. His younger bro, Ray, is a flabby parole officer who believes that Emmit is somehow responsible for his sorry state of affairs. Carrie Coon (The Leftovers) plays Gloria, the chief of the Eden Valley police.
Production on Fargo‘s should be begin later this year, with new episodes airing in 2017.
