New Mexico-set slasher opus Fender Bender is the first original film from home video imprint Shout! / Scream Factory. Following it’s premiere earlier this year on Chiller, the gorefest will drive its way to DVD, Blu-ray and all digital platforms on October 4.

Fender Bender follows a sweet-faced teen (Mackenzie Vega) who gets rear-ended in the titular accident by a smooth talking but totally malevolent sociopath (Bill Sage). Once they exchange insurance information, the girl goes home, her parents leave for vacation and then… the killer comes to call, dressed in head-to-toe black leather.

The release will come loaded with bonus features, including a “Retro VHS” cut of the film, audio commentary with the director, a behind-the-scenes featurette, a producer’s commentary, a collection of vintage slasher film trailers and more! Fans can pre-order their copies now by visiting ShoutFactory.com.

Here’s a look at the full Fender Bender special features:

  • “Retro VHS” Version of the film –watch the film in a re-created mode that takes you back to the 1980’s and the heyday of VCRs.
  • “Slashback” Trailer Reel – A collection of vintage Scream Factory-branded slasher previews.
