Fox has released a trailer for its upcoming limited series event, “24: Live Another Day.” In the clip, CIA operations chief Steve Navarro (Benjamin Bratt) targets Kiefer Sutherland’s Jack Bauer after two Russian diplomats are killed.
“I know how many lives you’ve saved — how much the country is in your debt – but they’re just going to see a man who snapped,” Bratt’s Navarro says in the trailer. “Killing and mutilating with no regard to law or conscience. A man who’s country now labels him a criminal; a terrorist.”
The trailer centers on an assassination plot against the president (William Devane), which seems to be only part of the story. In an aggressive confrontation between CIA operative Kate Morgan (Yvonne Strahovski), Sutherland’s Bauer says, “I’m trying to prevent an attack and you’re getting in my way.”
Mary Lynn Rajskub and Kim Raver also appear in the clip. “24: Live Another Day” premieres on May 5 on Fox.
