Documents recently made by public by the FCC confirm that a rumored Samsung SCH-i425 phone is designed for Verizon.
While the model number suggests a Stratosphere II successor, internal photos in the FCC filing confirm that the i425 does not have a physical keyboard. The i425 is an Android phone that supports 4G LTE on Verizon’s 750 MHz and 1700 (AWS) frequency bands.
The unit has an HD 720p screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, LTE connectivity support with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean in control.
It also supports GSM and WCDMA for global roaming, front and back cameras, NFC, and a memory card slot.
The i425 has not been announced.
