Yahoo has announced plans to reduce the number of products and services it offers so it can further focus on its core strengths. Among the products being cut is the Yahoo BlackBerry App.
The app will no longer be available for download beginning April 1, though Yahoo will continue to support those who’ve already downloaded it.
Yahoo also plans to shut down its App Search service, Yahoo! Avatars, Sports IQ, and the Yahoo! Update API.
