Xbox 720 Leaks Featuring Xbox TV and Kinect 2.0

Xbox TV will supposedly be available on mobile devices and PCs and launch this Christmas, before coming built-in with Microsoft’s next generation console the following year.

By 2015, Microsoft will provide “Xbox experiences served up from the cloud” direct to any screen, according to the leak. This will allow users to run media and play games across multiple devices – a similar service to the recently-announced SmartGlass.

The Xbox 720 will allegedly support cutting-edge 3D technology through Kinect 3D Glasses, codenamed Fortaleza. This service will be implemented over WiFi in 2014, and via 4G the following year.

Kinect 2.0 will reportedly launch with the console, featuring improved tracking, dedicated processing, and with better play space and high definition.

The console is supposedly six times more powerful than the Xbox 360, and will include a Blu-ray optical drive and “always online” technology.

According to the document, the Xbox 720 and its Kinect 2.0 sensor will be released in 2013, priced at $299 (£190).
