Netflix has premiered the first trailer for Daybreak, a high-school story set in a post-apocalyptic time and starring the likes of Matthew Broderick, Krysta Rodriguez, Colin Ford, Sophie Simnett and Austin Crute.
In the series, the city of Glendale is populated by marauding gangs of jocks, gamers, the 4-H Club, and fearsome tribes who fight to survive in the wake of a nuclear blast.
Following an eclectic group of teenage survivors as they navigate this treacherous world, the series is “part samurai saga, part endearing coming-of-age story, and part Battle Royale”.
San Andreas and Rampage director Brad Peyton executive produces the series which will come to the streaming service on October 24th.
