Verizon has started pre-orders (updated URL)for the LTE Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both 16GB and 32GB versions are available, in black or white, and should ship in four to six weeks. The two cost $630 and $730 respectively off-contract, although signing up for a two-year data plan will drop their respective prices by $100.

Data plans for tablets at Verizon currently start off at $20 for 1GB of data and climb to $35 for 3GB, $50 for 5GB, and $80 for the maximum 10GB plan.

The LTE version is virtually identical to the Wi-Fi model with the exception of the cellular access, which Verizon estimates gets 5-12Mbps downstream and 2-5Mbps upstream in real-world conditions. Both share an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, a three-megapixel rear camera, and a two-megapixel front camera.
