Google said Verizon Wireless customers can now send and receive MMS messages through their Google Voice number. According to Google, MMS is supported by all major carriers in the U.S. and Canada.
Further, Google has added native MMS support to Google Voice. This means users who add their Google Voice number to Hangouts can actually attach photos to Google Voice messages rather than send an SMS with a photo link.
Google said support for group messaging via MMS will be available soon.
