Nintendo is sending its 3DS on a road trip across the United States this summer as the company sponsors the annual Vans Warped Tour, which brings a powerful lineup of live music and lifestyle products to cities from coast to coast. Through August 14th, attendees at every stop along the tour will be able to visit interactive Nintendo demo areas and experience the hand-held Nintendo 3DS, which offers a wide variety of games and portable entertainment options that can be viewed in 3D without the need for special glasses.

In the Nintendo tent, which will be erected at all stops for the tour, concert attendees can experiment with the Nintendo 3DS Camera, create customized Mii characters with the built-in Mii Maker application and play video games including The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, DEAD OR ALIVE Dimensions, Super Monkey Ball 3D, Madden NFL Football, Ridge Racer 3D and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. Players can also have fun with augmented-reality features and AR Games, using oversized AR Cards and temporary AR Card tattoos to view virtual characters in real-world settings and interact with them in interesting ways.

Plus, those who bring their own Nintendo 3DS systems can use them to exchange Mii characters with other tour-goers using the built-in StreetPass feature.

The Vans Warped Tour will be setting up camp near Sacramento as the tour makes a stop at the nearby Sleep Train Amphitheater in Marysville, California, on August 11th.
