Tyra Banks is back on daytime TV with new panel show “FABLife,” but the model-turned-television host promises the syndicated talk show will be unlike anything viewers have seen before on the small screen.
“I’m interested in things that are not the same. I’m also interested in television where I’m not by myself. It is hard by yourself, it is lonely by yourself, it is tiring by yourself,” says Banks, who hosted six seasons of her own syndicated talk show “The Tyra Banks Show” from 2005 to 2010, adding that the “life-stylist” co-hosts are what make the show unique.
“I was not interested in coming back to daytime and doing like, ‘Tyra Show’ part two,” the host insists.
Banks is joined by four lifestyle experts who round out the roundtable with different areas of expertise. Chrissy Teigen, the model and “Lip Sync Battle” host who has garnered a huge social media following for her quippy posts and food frenzy pics, will serve as “FABLife’s” culinary expert; Joe Zee, who currently holds the post of Yahoo Style’s editor in-chief, is the show’s resident fashionista; interior designer Lauren Makk brings home design to the table; and do-it-yourself YouTube star Leah Ashley is ready to introduce digitally savvy audiences to DIY projects.
