Top Chinese Actors Join for Little Prince Voice Over Work

Little Prince ChinaHuang Bo and Zhou Xun (pictured above) are set to feature as part of the Chinese voice cast for Mark Osborne’s “The Little Prince.” Fundamental Films, the Chinese distribution and production company, announced that nine other Chinese stars will comprise the cast. Joining Bo and Xun are Huang Yici, Huang Lei, Hu Haiquan, Ma Tianyu, Yi Yangqianxi, Wang Zijian, Xiao Ke, Yuan Quan and Zhang Yi in various roles.

“The Little Prince” follows a young girl’s relationship with her pushy mother, and a mysterious neighbor who tells her the story of the little prince he once encountered.

“We’re thrilled to announce such a first-rate cast,” said Mark Gao, chairman and founder of Fundamental Films. “For many of our stars, ‘The Little Prince’ is a treasured childhood memory. Its classic lines and that famous yellow scarf have long left a deep impression in their minds, and we have no doubt that Mark Osborne’s modern retelling will do the same for a new generation of Chinese cinema-goers”

“The Little Prince” will be released in both 2D and 3D on Oct. 16.
