Time Warner Cable answered the call for TV streaming on the iPhone with the free TWC TV app universal. Now iPhone and iPod touch users can now stream live shows like their iPad counterparts. They also get an optimized version of the program guide as well as DVR and remote controls.
Every platform now adds cover art along with bug fixes.
As before, watching live TV needs a Wi-Fi connection on a router linked to the customer’s Time Warner Cable account. They need at least a Standard or Expanded Basic level of TV channels on a traditional package to get online.
