Most people know Thrustmaster for its racing wheels or hands-on-throttle-and-stick (HOTAS) devices, but the company also has its own lineup of gaming headsets. The latest headset is called the Y-300CPX, a successor to its predecessor, the Y-280CPX.

The Y-300CPX uses 50 mm drivers, and the company also touted its “double electro-acoustic bass amplification,” which is supposed to deliver a powerful bass sound during gameplay. It also includes an adjustable unidirectional microphone (also detachable), and an inline controller that allows you to adjust game and chat audio levels, microphone gain and bass. You can use it to toggle the microphone on or off, too.

The headset features a 13.1-foot cable with a USB connector, but it also comes with a 3.5 mm connector. This makes the headset work on various living room and handheld consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Wii U, etc.), as well as on PCs, Macs, smartphones and tablets. The inline controller can also be used for calling functions if you use the headset for your phone.

The Y-300CPX comes out later this month for $54.99.
