LG has rolled out three new additions to its IPS 21:9 UltraWide monitor lineup. All three models (29EA73, 29EB73 and 29MA73) are 29-inches wide and utilize IPS technology for wide viewing angles and color accuracy, while they all also use LED backlighting for consistent brightness and contrast. The displays are also Mac compatible with DisplayPort connectivity, while they also support smartphones over mobile high-definition link (MHL).

Each of the new models also support LG’s 4-screen split feature that automatically divides the display into four segments. The segments can be repositioned into various configurations as well, while dual-link ensures maximum flexibility allowing users to access and view information from two external devices simultaneously.

The 29MA73 comes with a TV tuner built-in and a new ‘extra-view’ picture-in-picture function that gives users the ability to access TV schedules, smartphone games and other content while still being able to view a TV show. The 29EB73 is fitted with an ergonomic adjustable stand that allows users to adjust its height, although LG is yet to detail the distinguishing feature/s of the 29EA73. The 29EA73 and 29EB73 roll out globally this month, while the 29MA73 will follow in late September. Pricing will vary by region.
