BBC America has announced three new additions to the cast of hit drama Killing Eve which will get a second season in Spring next year. Nina Sosanya (Good Omens) and Edward Bluemel (A Discovery of Witches) play new regulars and Julian Barratt (Mindhorn) will guest star.

The trio join series regulars Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw who are set to return, no word yet if Sean Delaney, Kirby Howell-Baptiste or Owen McDonnell will also be back. The first season of the series made TV history, breaking a more than decade-long record of unbroken weekly ratings growth in the key adults 25-54 and 18-49 demos.

Based on Luke Jennings’ Codename Villanelle novellas, the series is a darkly comic thriller following a desk-bound MI5 officer who begins to track down a talented psychopathic assassin Villanelle. Both women soon become obsessed with each other.

The second season is currently shooting in Europe.
