The 7th Guest is a straightforward port of the popular 640×480 game for Mac OS X with all the original graphics, animation, video and music. The original release in 1993 pushed forward adoption of CD-ROM drives as it was one of the first games that required them in order to play.
The game is a haunting puzzle tale with a horror narrative that requires players to solve challenges and navigate throughout a spooky manor, viewing events from the past and struggling to work out the mystery of the manor’s mysterious owner Stauf. The company has said that it is working on a sequel that follows on from the original sequel, The 11th Hour. The game is available from the Mac App Store as well as Macgamestore.com.
